At Able Self Storage and Removals we have car licence trucks and utes that can come with a sack trolley and ties to secure your load. Furniture felts are available for hire, as are piano trolleys and lifting straps. At Mt Barker truck hire is coordinated from our head office. In the Adelaide hills truck hire is central for pickup and delivery. We also have ute hire Mt Barker office .
Our truck rental is up to 24 hours, starting from 8.30 in the morning and can be picked up any time after this. All trucks are due back at 8.30am the next day (except if returning Sunday needs to be returned at 8.00am). You may be able to pick up the hire truck at 4.30pm the day before, if it is available . An early pick up fee will be applied. The customer is charged for all fuel (diesel) used at 30c per km (this is for every km driven.We take the odometer reading when picked up and then when returned. This way you dont have to fill up what the previous customer didn’t replace.Even if the truck wasn’t full at pickup you are still only paying for your consumption.) The customer is also charged a km excess for km travelled in excess of 100 km at 30c per km. Knowing your cost up front you can calculate your total cost even before you hire helping you budget at a time when money is being spent quickly.
EG If you travel 150km then we will charge Fuel for 150km @.30c is $45 and also ex km of 50@.30c is$15.Therefor when returning truck you will owe $45(fuel) + $15(xs km) = $60.
When booking a hire truck, please specify if you want a truck with a walk board or an electric tailgate lifter.
