Able Self Storage & Removals are passionate when it comes to preserving our environment. We currently generate more electricity than we consume and are increasing our output by expanding our solar panel system monthly, supplying more electricity back into the grid. We are progressively increasing the output potential so we can make a difference.We currently have in place 2 30kw grid connected systems to our existing premises and smaller systems on other buildings totaling over 100kw and still are increasing . When this is completed we will continue to install solar on all buildings purchased keeping out commitment to renewable energy, our environment and out childrens future. This is complying to South Australia’s current government policy that was implimented in July 2008 for small business under 160 MGw which pays us at a rate of $0.44c per kw.Our Adelaide hills storage buildings have large roof areas allowing us to connect the maximum 30 kw to the grid.
Our facilities are situated in the Adelaide Hills, kangaroo island and Fleuireu districts.
Our facility at Goolwa is powered by only solar panels and 2 wind generators.
